Plan for the front area - the part of the Rose Court to the right of the walk is not included, in order to make room for notes.  The round shape in the middle with something sticking out of it is a planned pot with a lotus plant in it, possibly backed by another pot with a tall, striped Canna.  The canna foliage would look great against the blue front doors.  The bed under the windows is full of purple Periwinkles, which look terrific with the dusky purple shutters.  The built-in planter to the far right contains blue flowered Plumbago, as does the matching planter to the left of the driveway. 

 

** Update: the trellis was vetoed, so we did this instead. Still want to do the potted canna, though.
