The direct-seed method will often leave gaps, so I will re-seed some areas in
a couple of weeks and plant some backups of many of the plants in the Potager
plan above in flats and small pots on the porch. Also, the plants to go
in other garden areas and containers will first be planted there. See Seeds Planted on Porch
